Our three month stay in Costa Rica flew by quickly and we are getting ready to check out of Costa Rica in Golfito and make our way to Panama. But first we enjoy Costa Rica’s beauty for a little while longer.

This was also a re-supply mission and involved returning with over 100 lbs of goodies.

As we continue to explore the inside of the Nicoya Peninsula, we relish in the numerous similarities between our old sailing grounds of Puget Sound and our current environment. Both have ferry rides, wildlife, desolate beaches and rainforest. The only difference is the temperature.

We leave behind the exposed northern coastline for a bit of protection inside Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula. Between the (many) raindrops, we manage to spot some truly amazing wildlife as we island hop on our way up the inside of the peninsula.
