My family, the Taggarts, were in town visiting last week. Five days of visiting beaches, walking the Malecon, snorkeling with whale sharks, and eating delicious food.
We wanted to visit Playa Balandra but unfortunately visitor numbers were reduced due to COVID-19 and the beach was closed when we arrived. We continued on to Playa El Tecolote along the San Lorenzo channel facing Isla Espirito Santo and had a wonderful walk along the beach as well as some cool beverages.
It was great to see my parents and the rest of the family.
We also went on a day trip to snorkel with whale sharks. It’s one of those things we normally wouldn’t have done on our own, but with a large group we couldn’t resist the opportunity!
